Sonoma County Dump Fees in 2026
Know exactly what it costs to dump your trash at the local transfer stations.
You have a truck full of junk. You need to know how much it costs to dump it. The Sonoma County Central Disposal Site on Mecham Road charges by weight, and the fees change.
Current 2026 Rates
The Central Disposal Site charges a minimum fee just to drive over the scale. After that, you pay per ton. As of early 2026, the standard municipal solid waste rate is around $150 per ton. The minimum charge for a small load is usually around $45.
What Costs Extra?
Certain items trigger extra fees. Mattresses, tires, and appliances with freon cost more. If you bring an old refrigerator, expect to pay a surcharge for freon removal. Tires cost extra per tire depending on the size.
